Privacy Policy

No data collection

ScanExport runs 100% in your web browser. Your files are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your documents, images, or personal data.

Local storage

If you activate a Pro license, your license key and associated email are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device only and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time from within the app.

License verification

When you enter a license key, a single request is sent to our verification server to validate the key with Gumroad. Only the license key is transmitted — no other data. This is the only network request the app makes.

No analytics or tracking

ScanExport does not use:

• Analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, nothing)
• Tracking pixels or cookies
• Fingerprinting or any form of user identification

Third-party services

The landing page includes the Gumroad checkout overlay script for purchase processing. Gumroad's own privacy policy applies to the checkout flow. We recommend reviewing Gumroad's privacy policy.
